General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of

Capanna Cadagno

1. Scope

These GTC apply to all reservations and stays at Capanna Cadagno.

They govern the contractual relationship between the guest and the hut management.

2. Accommodation contract and reservation

2.1 The contract is concluded exclusively between the guest and the hut management.

2.2 A reservation becomes binding once confirmed verbally or in writing. These GTC

then take effect.

3. Deposit / Advance payment

3.1 An advance payment may be required. It must be paid before departure. Refunds

only according to cancellation policy.

4. Cancellation conditions / No‑show fee

4.1 Free cancellation up to 2 days before 18:00 via Hut‑Reservation or phone.

4.2 Charges for late cancellation or no‑show:

• Up to 2 days prior: free

• Under 2 days after 18:00: CHF 30.–

• Under 1 day after 18:00: CHF 50.–

• No‑show: full reservation amount

4.3 Exceptions with written proof of severe weather (MeteoSwiss) or avalanche danger

(SLF).

4.4 Applies also to early departure.

5. Withdrawal by hut management

Possible in cases of force majeure, severe misconduct, or illegal purpose.

6. Identification requirement

6.1 Reduced rates only with valid membership card.

6.2 Free stay for mountain guides with valid IVBV card.

7. Payment

7.1 Payment on departure day; electronic means depending on availability.

7.2 Unstaffed period: cash or bank transfer within 10 days.8. Liability disclaimer

Information without guarantee; tour decisions are the responsibility of the guest.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies; jurisdiction is the municipality where the hut is located.
